Cavaliers defenseman Donovan Mitchell spoke about the racial discrimination he faced while playing for the Jazz.


I feel more comfortable in Cleveland, 100%. I`m not going to lie about it. It`s no secret that there are many things I had to deal with in Utah. I never talked about them, but it drained me. My hands went down just because a person sits in his room and cheers for me, and then does all these things. I`m not talking about every fan, but I felt that there were many.


I have seen black children being bullied because of their skin color. I saw a little girl, Isabella Tichenor, hang herself because she was bullied at school. There were many such cases. And this is not the only place where they occur. I continued to advocate for racial equality, and all these years it was very difficult for me to fight such things, - Mitchell admitted.
